PRODUCT DISCLAIMER
Effective September 1, 1998
To validate your warranty , you must have at least one member of your staff attend an authorized training program that provides “hands-on” training in the use of low pressure air cushions.
When used with an Air Cushions USA supplied blower system, air cushions are fully warranted for material and workmanship for two (2) years. In addition, you will receive an extended three (3) years pro-rated warranty for a total of five (5) years.
If any cushion fails due to defects in either material or workmanship while trained operator are utilizing the blower system supplied by Air Cushions USA, we will repair or replace the cushion at our option, without charge during the first two (2) years, after delivery date. Therefore, for three (3) thru five (5) years, we will repair or replace the cushion at our option on a pro-rated basis as follows:
Year 3, your cost not to exceed 45% of the latest retail price.
Year 4, your cost not to exceed 55% of the latest retail price.
Year 5, your cost not to exceed 65% of the latest retail price.
Manufacturer’s warranty on various components of our system is as follows, and being from your delivery date:
Honda Engine*: two (2) years
HATZ Diesel Engine*: one (1) year
Roots Division Blower: one (1) year
Valve bank/ Control System one (1) year
Hoses: one (1) year
*Purchaser is responsible for validating warranty through the manufacturer. Warranty information is supplied by the manufacturer, and is passed on by Air Cushions USA.
All products sold by Air Cushions USA are for use by professional properly trained in recovery and rescue work. All recovery and work involves hazardous activity and risk. It is the duty and responsibility of the purchaser to properly educate themselves or their employees in the use of the products we sell. The purchaser is responsible to determine that our products are suitable for their intended use. Further, to validate the AIR CUSHIONS USA warranty, the operator must be trained by a trainer authorized by AIR CUSHIONS USA.
WARRANTY VALIDATION INFORMATION
AIR CUSHIONS USA sponsors and participates in the regularly scheduled training classes held by the International Recovery Associates Inc., Five Star Training Programs, and EMTA (Emergency Management Training Associates) of Orlando, Florida through the year. Only TRAA and/or International Institute of Towing & Recovery (University of Georgia) training instructors are utilized in these warranty validation classes. Each purchaser is entitled to training for one member of his organization at no additional cost. Each designated trainee is responsible for his or her transportation to a training seminar, and any other expense incurred during their training (food, lodging.).
Additional members of the purchasing organization requesting validation training will be charged according to the host’s seminar.
WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER....
Damage to material due to chemical contamination, physical abuse, malicious damage, negligence, accidents, storage damage, misuse or fire.
If the ownership of an AIR CUSHIONS USA air cushion system changes, no warranty claims will be honored. Warranty of air cushions is NON-TRANSFERABLE.
